My titan x water cooled running at 2100mhz and using about 9 gig of vram is running at 22.5 frames per sec, on full max graphics settings on game. Can adjust graphics level to get higher frame rate but i like the orsm graphics that come with this game, so i put up with the lower frame rate which is still very playable. Also my computer has a 6 core intel overclocked to 4ghzs, with 48gig ram. So my computer runs any vr games no worries on ultra graphics. The game play is all about puzzles to keep you thinking how to move ontop the next stage. Using day/night play is very nice with a good sound track in the back ground.. I can't believe I put of buying this game. I had it on my wish list forever. This game is simply enchanting and amazing VR experience. Definitely in my top 10 VR games. The puzzles are all good, the environments make you excited to explore new areas. You will constantly be pausing just to look around. This game definitely evoked a sense of wonder. I got the same vibes you get when you are in a starter area of a new MMO or playing a Final fantasy game. Something about the music and environments just comes together so well. ALSO! not a short game! Took me 9 hours which I feel should be a about average. 100% you should get this game if you like puzzles or interesting environments.. The art design/graphics, and especially the soundtrack, are amazing. The music is reminiscent of the last Ecco the Dolphin game. Unfortunately, the puzzles are braindead simple, the rhyming "poems" are hamfisted and cheesy, and the game is overall boring. At times it ventures into walking simulator territory. If you're looking for puzzles on the level of Myst, you'll be disappointed. The presentation is almost able to prop up the lack of substance, but not really.. Just finished up a non-VR playthrough, and am VERY pleased with this game! So, a review:XING is a Myst-like exploration/puzzle game with various worlds which have controllable environments. Some items move, can be picked up/thrown, or interact with other puzzle-type pieces, Goals of each level are to advance through puzzle areas and reach an end-gate. Xing has a fantastic learning curve, and if you've read reviews which say the puzzles are too simple, you're most likely reading a review from someone who didn't do ALL of them. The hardest ones here aren't crazy mind-benders like some of the difficult Talos Project Gehenna ones, but they do get larger and more intricate as the game progresses. The (non-VR) game looks amazing, and can be set pretty high on graphical qualities. (Surprise achievement during setup!) Weather environments/effects are fantastic. Audio is also top-notch, which is how I say "The background music was very good, not annoying."I did get stuck in a pit once, and saw through a tear in a wall or two, but encountered no other issues with the game. Movement was slightly 'off' from an FPS-type game, as the walking was a bit too slow and the running was also slower than I would have preferred. Maybe this is something which is common in VR games?. I've only just started, but I'm leaving a positive review based only on how beautiful it looks and how good the options menus are. This alone is worth the price.. Beautiful, relaxing puzzle game. No brain busting puzzles so far, but it's a lovely meditative escape... which is exactly what I wanted and expected.. I have been waiting for a game like this. Magical, immersive, beautiful, relaxing and with puzzles that are not too difficult (so far). It's like a casual zen version of the Talos Principle. Menus are excellent, all the settings you need, de-coupled controller movement, performance is really good with high SS, etc. What more can you want? They even added some nice voice-acting. The music is perfect too (but maybe some more tracks would be welcome). If you like exploring and puzzling in a beautiful relaxing environment, I highly recommend this.. A lively, lush work of art. This game is possibly the most gorgeous I've experienced in VR, and is oh so relaxing to boot. The puzzles are simple, but the interplay between story(featuring fantastic voice-overs) and solving make the experience rewarding and engaging. One thing I really want to give note to is how amazing the soundtrack is, it knows just when to stand out and captures the majesty of adventure very well. So glad to have this game!. Welcome to Motion Sickness City! Graphically simple, and puzzles are interesting enough, but I can only play it for limited amounts of time, and am usually left with a headache so I don't know if I'll ever finish it? Would be great of only it didn't leave you feeling so queasy (none of my other games do...)
